IRS Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA)

ITIN Application Services

Get your Individual Taxpayer Identification Number without mailing your passport to the IRS.

Worried About Mailing Your Passport to the IRS?

The standard ITIN application process requires mailing original identity documents to the IRS — where they can take weeks to return. That means weeks without your passport.

We're IRS Certified Acceptance Agents

As CAAs, we have IRS authorization to verify your identity documents in-person. We certify copies so you keep your originals. No mailing passports. No IRS office visits.

What is an ITIN?

An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a tax processing number issued by the IRS for individuals who are required to have a U.S. taxpayer identification number but who do not have, and are not eligible to obtain, a Social Security Number (SSN).

Important: An ITIN does not authorize work in the U.S., provide eligibility for Social Security benefits, or change immigration status. It is solely for federal tax reporting purposes.

Foreign nationals with U.S. tax filing requirements

Spouse of U.S. Citizen
